Heavy Crystal

Mixing the designs of the Gems from the pilot episode of "Steven Universe," with the book-end story of the movie, "Heavy Metal," this hybrid image was intended to give off a familiar dark 1980s atmosphere, while also giving things a lighter touch with the more friendly personalities of Steven and the Crystal Gems.

I had intended to also make the orb at bottom center a bit more clear, because it's actually supposed to be one of Peridot's robotic orbs, because when I created this image, Peridot was still a villain.
