COMMISSION - Heather and Jordan

For JR-95's 3rd commission, I tackled his Wrestler mother, Heather, and her cheerleader son, Jordan.
Out of all of my most recent artworks, this I consider my most successful, I think because every element came out just right. The poses work well, the muscles, especially Heather's abs look great. Getting her bust to be the right shape turned out better than expected. And her son Jordan has one of the most perky excited faces I've ever drawn. It all comes together here.

As I've said in other descriptions, I like to use various colors to break up my sketches so the different parts are more clearly visible, it also allows me to work on each portion independently on new layers.

Although you don't seen much of her lower legs or knees in the final piece, I wanted to make sure they were fully sketches out, depending on how much of Jordan would obscure them.

Aside from Jordan, the one difference I made with this final sketch was reworking Heather's face to be a bit softer, a just a tad bit more aged. I wanted her to be a tough mother, not a hard one.
