The AVGN - GhoshBushterz

A familiar scene from a very nostalgic episode of The Angry Video Game Nerd.
I took a wild new approach to this piece by attempting a slight low-angle, exaggerated proportions, and various hatching details. To my surprise, this turned out exactly the way I wanted, after various early attempts at the initial sketch turned out so poor.

Final Composition, feat. a goofy Ghostbusters logo, filtered through a special set of effects.

Refined sketch.

What helped achieve the exaggerated angle, more than anything, where these large base shapes I tried on my third attempt at this piece.

My 2nd attempt at this piece was arguably worse than the first because now it looked like a simpleton's rendition of what the real image was meant to look like.

First attempt at a sketch got the pose and the face sort of right, but the low angle wasn't there, nor was the shape of the TV correct. It didn't offer the right retro feel.
